Meet the Bands

Blue Ridge Thunder
Blue Ridge Thunder is a Bluegrass Band from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
BuckBilly Deluxe
Hardcore country music.

Chamomile and Whiskey
Chamomile and Whiskey came about like all good, simple things–by making two things into one. In the case of this group, Marie Borgman and Koda Kerl–native musicians of Nelson County, Virginia–combined chamomile tea with Evan Williams whiskey one evening. They decided that what they had made tasted like their sound.

Chloe & The Country Crawdads
The Piedmont Triad’s most honkin’ and tonkin’ country band!

Gallatin Canyon
Despite the Montana namesake, Gallatin Canyon is a Charlottesville, Virginia-based bluegrass band. Influenced by dozens of artists, both contemporary and from the past, the band showcases masterful instrumentation, air-tight arrangements and soaring vocal harmonics. They perform not only traditional bluegrass music but also a wide variety of creatively-arranged favorites from the classic-rock and country genres. From Bill Monroe and Flatt & Scruggs, to the Beatles and the Avett Brothers, at any given show, you’ll hear an eclectic and energetic mix crossing multiple musical genres.

Love Canon
Sprouting from the musical foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Charlottesville, Virginia’s LOVE CANON bring their own raucous blend of bluegrass to the masses. Their most recent release, Cover Story debuted at #1 on the Billboard Bluegrass chart with its ingenious acoustic renditions of classic hits from the 80s and 90s from the likes of Peter Gabriel, Billy Joel, Depeche Mode, and Paul Simon.

Luke Whittaker
Luke Whittaker was born out of time and has tapped into the spirit of Bocephus, Waylon Jennings and a gang of renegades from a time gone by. Luke’s lyrics deal with demons, desperation and hope. Settled in the fertile soil of Virginia, he has drawn from the well of observation of those who have struggled in life including his own obstacles. Luke has found his gift. He can lead you through an old Smokey bar all the way through to the throne of God in roughly three minutes. I suggest you go along for the ride.”

Sally Rose
Born and raised in Nelson County, Sally Rose grew up with swimming holes, windows down on backroads, heating by wood, and first dates at the Colleen Drive In. Although they grew up in a small rural town, SR listened to a broad spectrum of musical stylings passed down by their folks. Their Pops, being a baby-boomer, surfer-stoner, mountain-man, listened to Johnny Cash & John Prine. Their mother, a watery-magic, dancing moon-beam, brilliant and zany creative, has led many lives including dancing with the Stars Of Tomorrow, opening for the Diving Horse on the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, and playing in the world’s largest Black Sabbath cover band. With music ingrained in their blood, Sally Rose began cutting their teeth young, releasing a debut album at just 16 years old. Being from this land and growing up with the landscape of the Blue Ridge Mountains has undoubtedly shaped the way Sally Rose writes music.
